Hi, my name is Mariana. I'm a software engineer and over the course of my career I’ve helped people connect to educational resources, keep their data secure, explore the world, test the safety of our food, and transform the way we build software.

I am a life-long learner with endless curiosity. I seek to understand how things work and why they work that way.

Sometimes my focus is building software, sometimes I have the privilege of building teams, and my true bliss is building software as a member of a collaborative team.

My personal projects are just for fun. My professional projects are crafted for the situation, which can mean well-tested and documented enterprise-grade software, greenfield in search of product-market fit or proof-of-concept work.
